About Small Ratio Instruction
All classes are limited in size to 6 students, with 1 teacher and 1 teacher assistant. This ratio enables the team to individualize the curriculum and instruction to effectively meet every student’s specific learning and behavior needs. Students receive programming that is customized based on their strengths and learning styles, that is continuously evolving due to on-going assessment and that includes specific behavior management programming.
Blended Learning with Station Teaching
Blended learning, also known as hybrid learning, is an approach to education that combines online educational materials and opportunities for interaction online with traditional place-based classroom methods.
In the station teaching model of instruction, students and content are divided into three or more groups. Each teacher teaches one section of content, while the remaining sections are based on independent practice activities, and students rotate between all of the stations.
